A country garden with strong hedges that required a semi formal approach with lots of structure to unify and pull together the site. There is a wide use of dwarf and small trees [acer, cercis, ginkgo, magnolia], dwarf evergreens and shrubs and extensive under planting of a wide range of perennials. The result is a garden with a long season of bloom yet has year round interest.
