IMPORTANT: PLEASE READ
The nursery is open to the public from Wednesday to Sunday, 10AM to 5PM.
You are required to wear protective clothing during your visit. This includes:
– a facemask or scarf
– gloves, or use hand sanitizer before entering
There are no washroom facilities during the pandemic. Restaurants, stores, and public washrooms are available 3 km away in the town of Acton.
In the event of severe weather please call ahead to confirm that the nursery is open.
To get the most out of your visit we encourage you to come dressed for outdoor conditions. We recommend suitable footwear for walking over uneven terrain; in wet weather, raincoat and boots; on hot sunny days bring extra water and a hat. In late spring mosquitos make their presence felt and you’ll be more comfortable if you arrive bug-proofed: wear repellent, long-sleeved top and pants, and light-coloured clothing.
You’ll find it easier to transport your purchases if you bring trays, bags or boxes to carry them home in.
Recycle Your Pots
We hate spending money buying pots when so many are languishing in people’s garages and in landfill sites. Please continue to return our pots, along with any others, but only in the sizes that we use (11 cm, 15 cm and 1 gallon). We do not want annual cell packs or hanging baskets.
Plenty of free parking is available on site.
Group visits are not permitted at this time.
